to the online home of the
Catholic Newman Center at the
University of Missouri - St. Louis.
We
would like to welcome all new UM-St.
Louis students to participate in Sunday Mass and
any other activities planned by the Catholic Newman Center!
Our
website is updated weekly, so check often for updates on events and activities as well as service opportunities, online homilies, and pictures of events!
ANNOUNCEMENTS:
8pm Sunday Evening Mass begins again on January 18th. Thanks!
Newsletter now available online!
Not Available Fridays but still want to do service?
St. Augustine Wellston Center is a food pantry/thrift store a few miles east of UMSL that gives out food to many needy people every Tues and Wed. morning, 9am-11:30am. If you're available either of those days and are interested in helping out, once or consistently, please email service co-chair Laura at: lardz2@umsl.edu. She goes regularly and would be happy to give you a ride and introduce you to all the great people there. It's fun, friendly and a minimal time investment.
Mass Guide Now Available
Ever wonder why Catholics genuflect or have trouble explaining Catholic Liturgy to a non-Catholic loved one? Our new and updated Outline of Mass is available here and helps Catholics and non-Catholics alike to understand the sacred liturgy and to explain it and it's foundations to their community for deeper appreciation.
Some changes this year:
-Please note that Sunday Night Mass at Provincial Hall Chapel has begun for the school year, and will begin at 8pm instead of 8:30pm.
-Friday afternoon mass at 12:05 has been cancelled--see you at Tuesday night mass at 5:30pm with Soup Dinner!
Brand spanking new brochure!
This summer we have completed our new brochure for the 08-09 Year, so click here to view the front and the back with our mission, pictures, and program offerings.
Prepare
for Sunday Mass
